Kim Campbell made history in 1993 by becoming the first woman Prime Minister of Canada. Like Sir John A. Macdonald did for a period, she also represented British Columbia in the House of Commons. One of the Hon. Chairs of Kingston’s Sir John A. Macdonald Bicentennial commemorations, she was at Kingston's City Hall on January 11, 2015 for Sir John A.’s big day.
