A physician by trade, Dr. Thomas Weeks Robison also owned a book store (City Book Store at King and Brock streets, later owned by John Creighton), partly owned a drug store, was a partner of Chewett and Co. Axle Factors, owned stock in both the City Gas and Water Works and was Police Magistrate for more than 20 years (succeeded by John Creighton). As Mayor, Robison presided over the completion of the ‘new’ City Hall.
